Jump Start

This was a strange one today. A JCB broke down across my drive today (my 2 boys christmas's had come at once) and completely blocked it. His battery had gone flat.

He had some jump leads so I offered Mr G and we bumped him up.

I looked completely mad, a sexy Alfa bump starting a mucky,battered digger:wow:

and it worked

told to be very careful jump starting as you could fry the stop start module .... earth the -ve on the bodywork NOT the battery terminal...

There is quite a lot of info (does & donts) in the manual about jump starting and also disconnecting the battery.
I was sad enough to download it and fully read it in the 12week delivery period
