Hi guys,

I've just ordered new Giulietta but after that I saw the read dashboard in new red alfa color and I want to change my order. Local dealer told me it's not possible to change it because car is already ordered and they've started to work on it. I don't want to give it up easily - what do you think is there ane way how to make the change possible?

Thank you.

I guess most are built to order if the deviate from the norm so your dealer is right.

You could cancel & reorder but you'll lose you deposit for sure.

to msocratous: Yes I found the same link but it's only for UK (RHD) and I didn't find any other site with the red color for dashboard kit and LHD but I hope it's available. I will check it with dealer.

I saw also the video and it looks better then default magnesio (I did not go to Sport packet - a.k.a Veloce in UK - with dark aluminium). Unfortunately the link on video you posted has changed so I decided to keep default dashboard but then I found the right one: YouTube - Alfa Romeo Giulietta - svezli jsme se and changed my mind - a little bit late ;-)

Ok, I asked dealer to do something with it but the answer is the same - it's not possible to order it. Only what they can do is to unmount original dashboard and repaint it - for 240 EURO (???). Anyway I will ask another dealer for the information about this accessory.

How about a vinyl wrap?
That way if you get board, just rip it off and you are back to original day 1 spec (maybe with a little help from white spirit or some other plastic friendly glue solvent).
I'm sure it wouldnt be too expensive to go that route.

Sooooo... Did you get it finally?

not yet, but I'm going to order it from online shop in UK (the link is above). They are able to deliver it for LHD and yes, it's metallic new alfa red.
Now it's clear that the local dealer doesn't do his job right.

That's REALLY bad news... I was expecting it to be 289 Rosso Alfa :-(.

Uffff... that's a relief :). Does it match the bodywork colour?

I've heard there's problem with the RHD version.

I'm not sure a wrap would work on the edges where the audio comes through the aperture in the middle? I have a painter arranged if needed its just finding out if there are issues with the Rhd parts.

I saw the carbon fibre dash at Geneva Show and liked it.Not available rhd but maybe a real weave wrap on a white replacement part could be "commissioned". The Veloce/qv brushed panel looks a bit blue against red exterior for me.
